Homeowners are spending heavily on smart water shutoff equipment, often because their insurer requires it, but installation alone does not produce a dependable system. Connectivity failures, incorrect household profiles, irrigation and water-softener false alarms, missed notifications, and failed remote valve controls can leave the property unprotected or unexpectedly without water. Plumbers may handle the pipework without fully commissioning the connected-device workflow.
Provide an in-home commissioning service covering network compatibility, device pairing, household water-use configuration, irrigation and appliance exceptions, alert routing, remote shutoff testing, and documented emergency procedures. The technician performs simulated leak and connectivity-loss tests, resolves recoverable setup issues, and recommends replacement hardware when the installed system cannot meet a defined reliability checklist. Annual verification and pre-travel inspections create recurring service revenue.
Insurance requirements are pushing homeowners to install connected shutoff devices whose reliability depends on plumbing, networking, configuration, and ongoing testing. The reviews show that buyers already incur substantial equipment and installation costs but lack a single party accountable for ensuring the complete system works.

Needs to recognize pressure valve Update, use to be a decent app, recently they removed usage by device from the app and you now have to goto the web site to see it! Horrible update for the app. Overall I love the product, installed after a home leak. However I get warnings every time it does a pressure test, I told the app I have a pressure relief valve when I set it up. If I isolate the pressure valve it works fine. If it’s online I get a warning every time.
Too many minor issues with the app and Moen devices displaying wrong information and losing network connectivity. When it works, it works and it's good, but when it doesn't work, it's a pain in the rear. There has been many Moen app migrations and combining products, which is good, but the smart shower has been a stepchild to the faucet and the Flo by Moen leak detection. I can never re-test/setup my faucet and have it go through a proper evaluation of temperature, firmware update stuck at step1
