A deliberately simple nutrition tracker that records meals and activity without pop-ups, forced coaching, or disruptive interface changes.

High opportunity (79%)
People who track nutrition need to record food and exercise several times each day, often in seconds. Existing products repeatedly obstruct that job with promotional prompts, gamification, confusing navigation, inaccurate food imports, synchronization failures, lost history, and interface redesigns. These failures are especially costly because consistent tracking depends on an uninterrupted daily habit.
Build a paid, low-distraction nutrition ledger centered on rapid manual entry, barcode lookup, reusable meals, visible serving sizes, editable recipes, and dependable activity synchronization. Keep the primary logging interface stable, make coaching and scores optional, preserve an exportable local copy of each user's history, and show users when imported nutrition or activity data is uncertain. Begin with a narrow version for experienced trackers who value reliability and control over automated recommendations.
Recent reviews across several established products show the same core workflow being degraded by aggressive monetization, gamification, redesigns, and unreliable synchronization. This creates room for a focused product whose differentiator is operational reliability and interface stability rather than another novelty feature.

I like the concept of this app. Easy and simple to use. Since downloading again (first downloaded in 2024) this app have improved lots. Id like to see a little notes section where you can add notes for things. im using this to track my Slimming World Meals and a little notes section would be great :) Other than that its great 👍 tempted to buy the subscription for the year to create weekly plans.
11 Sep 2026 well done devs. App keeps force closing when I try to log more. Another crowning achievement. Won't store corrections either. Devs have broken core functionality /// 27 apr 2026 why do developers have to bugger around with their app UI when the original worked perfectly well? A UI change which requires MORE taps to enter data or makes it harder to glean core information, is a design failure. EDIT I've paid for a premium account since 2022, so
Annoying calorie tracking interface. Can we please just type in a serving value instead of scrolling through a long list? This is helpful for people actually weighing thwir food. Very limited food database, which is frustrating. having to add entries all the time. MyFitnessPal has much better database.
