Turn recipes, food labels, and restaurant meals into trustworthy per-serving macros and diet checks with minimal correction.

People managing calories, macros, points, or ingredient restrictions repeatedly translate food information into a form their diet can use. Barcode scanning works well for packaged products, but homemade recipes and imported social-media recipes require weighing, serving-size calculations, and extensive manual correction. Incorrect ingredient parsing or portion calculations undermines trust in the entire workflow.
Build a focused nutrition calculator that imports written or photographed recipes, normalizes ingredients, records the cooked yield by weight, and produces editable per-ounce and per-serving values. Add barcode and restaurant lookup as supporting capture methods, while showing calculation assumptions and confidence warnings instead of silently presenting uncertain results. Shared household recipes can be reused and adjusted when ingredients or yields change.
Consumers already demonstrate willingness to scan and log food, while recipe content increasingly originates in captions, photos, and other inconsistent formats. Existing import tools still require enough correction that some users find manual entry easier.

Using a youTube or website link to pull all instructions, ingredients and even macros is amazing. My only complaint is calories are calculated based on the portion size (eg. 6 people). This wouldn't be an issue if it recalculated when adjusting portion size. however this seems to be a one time feature. This results in your daily calories being in the thousands rather than per person. If updated then it's 5 stars from me.
The overall look is cute but childish. The font and how the meals are aligned are hard to read. Some functions are not working properly. Also it will be extremely helpful to have the camera function the nutrition label on food package. The current AI function is great but it doesn't accurately recognize information entered in the recipe page so the estimates for nutrition facts are not reliable.
Very easy to add recipes using online links. There are some limitations in free mode but it doesn't really impact the experience in anyway. All you need is the free version. As a college student this has been the best meal prep app I've found for helping me with my meals and macros. ❤️
