"I replaced hours of manual startup research with a bot that finds evidence-backed problems Most startup idea tools generate another list of “10 promising SaaS ideas.” The problem is that an idea can sound good without solving something people genuinely experience. Before spending weeks building, you still need to search communities, read discussions, compare complaints, check alternatives, and determine whether the problem is recurring or just one person’s frustration. I built **GripeToGold** to automate that research. The bot collects public discussions from **Reddit, Hacker News, GitHub Issues, and Stack Exchange**. When authorized data is available, it can also include signals from **X and G2**. It then: * Filters irrelevant posts and weak keyword matches * Consolidates duplicate and near-identical complaints * Groups discussions describing the same underlying problem * Checks whether the signal comes from one isolated community or multiple independent sources * Evaluates frequency, freshness, relevance, and source diversity * Ranks the strongest problems and turns them into structured opportunities This is different from manually scrolling through Reddit because manual research is usually limited by the keywords and communities you already know. It is also difficult to consistently compare hundreds of discussions using the same criteria. GripeToGold doesn’t simply count mentions or generate random ideas. Its purpose is to reduce research time and help you discover problems you may not have found on your own. A report can help uncover opportunities such as: * A repetitive workflow that small businesses still manage with spreadsheets * A missing feature repeatedly requested in GitHub issues * An expensive SaaS product users actively want an alternative to * A frustrating e-commerce process affecting sellers across different platforms * A creator workflow involving too many disconnected tools Every opportunity includes the recurring problem, supporting s..."

Private AI Meal Logger

Private AI Meal Logger

A no-account calorie and macro tracker that logs meals from voice, text, photos, or labels in seconds.

Score 53

"I built a simpler AI calorie counter because logging every meal was becoming a chore Hey everyone, I’ve been working on **Dietly**, an AI calorie counter and macro tracker designed to make food logging much quicker. The feature I find most useful is the **AI food scanner**: you take a photo of your meal, and Dietly estimates the calories, protein, carbs, and fat. You can also scan product barcodes or tell the AI assistant what you ate in normal language—for example, “I had two eggs and toast.” Dietly includes: * AI meal scanning from photos * Calorie and macro tracking * Barcode scanning and food search * Personalized calorie goals using TDEE and BMR * Protein, water, weight, and progress tracking * Support for weight loss, maintaining weight, or building muscle My goal was to create a clean alternative to calorie-counting apps that require lots of manual input. It’s free to download, with a free trial for the premium AI features. According to the store listing, food-diary data remains on the device, although some functionality has separate disclosed data practices. ([Google Play listing](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jeltelud.dietly)) I’d genuinely appreciate feedback—especially about the AI calorie estimates and whether the meal-logging flow feels faster than other nutrition trackers you’ve tried. Mortgage Intake Agent Implementation Service
5 Signals
Mortgage Intake Agent Implementation Service

A managed implementation service that builds human-reviewed AI agents for mortgage borrower intake, document collection, and application follow-up.

Score 51

"Exactly. Take the example of a mortgage application process. Traditional AI might answer borrower questions or help fill out forms, which is helpful but limited. Agentic AI, on the other hand, handles the entire workflow, qualifying the customer, collecting and validating documents, scheduling appointments, and even following up automatically. Every step is tied to a measurable outcome, like faster approvals or higher conversion rates."

AI Ad Creative Trust & Control Review Service
5 Signals
AI Ad Creative Trust & Control Review Service

A managed review and testing service that helps performance marketing teams use AI creative without damaging brand trust or launching risky claims.

Score 52

"kill switches' for Ad agents? Basically my overall reaction after checking the newer AI ad platforms featuring advertising agents, campaign launch, creative optimization, and performance loops as called in omneky. The other approach is creatify’s AdMax / performance-guided creative features on the video side. Both directions make sense to me but do make me worried when it comes to letting any system shift from recs to action unresrticted. For a SaaS team I can imagine letting an agent to spot the fatiguing creatives, suggest hooks from winning ads, generate rough batches. Or flag off-brand or non-compliant claims. Basically up to preparing campaigns for review. But certainly would not want it to freely ramp up budget, move positioning, launch claims-heavy ads without human approval. For B2B SaaS 1 bad claim can live in screenshots forever. And that sucks. Thus, apart from risks it gives just as vast growth points so I wonder what parts of paid acquisition are safe to hand over to such an agent safely?"

AI Workflow Adoption Sprint for SMB Teams

A hands-on service that rebuilds one recurring team workflow around AI, trains internal champions, and measures employee adoption.

Score 52

"So it's done by AI first. And now because you was part of rebuilding the process and you're a champion in your particular team. Help your peers leverage the change. Because if somebody is not using it, that person becomes a roadblock. So everybody should be using it. But it's not everything like, okay, you stop doing your work. You start using AI. No, it's okay. We'll rebuild this one process. Then the next one. Then the next one. And we'll see who will get us."

"All right, lesson number two, AI is amazing and honestly a little terrifying, but I want to encourage you to use it anyway. So, I actually remember when I first learned about ChatGPT back in 2022, I believe it was. It was from some free training inside a bookkeeping community that I was in, and I remember getting off that call and showing it to my husband, thinking that it was so cool that it could help me write things with just a simple prompt. And he immediately signed up for himself, and one of the first tests he used it for was to write me a fantasy football-inspired love note. So, but, you know, fast forward to now, AI has become so much more than just a simple chatbot."
